The deceased woman has been identified as Khushboo Devi, wife of Manish Kumar, a resident of Alaapur village. In this regard, a local woman says that Khushboo Devi was very friendly with a girl, which was opposed by Khushboo’s husband. She told that Khushboo’s husband Manish Kumar constantly stopped his wife from talking to the girl. But despite this, Khushboo Devi did not stop talking to the girl. Angered by this, the husband kept on beating her.
He has told that on Friday night also there was a dispute between the husband and wife on the same issue. Angered by this, the husband beat her with a stick and seriously injured her. In the injured state, the local people admitted her to a private hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared her dead. He has told that as soon as her husband got the news of her death, he fled from the spot.
In this regard, the friend of the deceased Khushboo Devi has said that Khushboo used to talk to us as a friend. She has told that when Khushboo’s husband forbade us from talking, there was no conversation between us. But despite this, such an incident has been carried out. This is injustice somewhere. At present, the local people informed the Phulwaria police station about this incident. The police of Phulwaria police station reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem and the police is conducting raids to arrest the accused husband.
